Simple – they’re the times that there’s nothing accessible ready for you and you grab what’s convenient. It’s desperation.
Choosing a mate through desperation leads to bad results – and it’s the same with food too.
4. Listen to your body’s response
More than any carbs, protein, or fats, it’s your body’s response to foods that matter. Make it a habit to notice how you feel after you eat certain foods. Eat the right foods and you’ll have more energy. Need to get more done during the day? Choose foods that boost your brain power. Eat foods that work with your body and not against it. Then, you’ll be more productive than ever.
5. Adjust as needed
We can’t always get around our preferences. No matter how hard you try, you may not be able to eat vegetables in the morning. And that’s okay. The next step is to see which proteins, fruits, or grains fit into your lifestyle. Instead of focusing on taste, focus on how food serves you during the day. At its most basic, food is the energy that keeps your body going during the day.
